Small World donates 1% of revenues to children in need. The children will learn about this cause as a part of their class instruction. Every class will create a project to benefit children in another area of the world
Beneficiaries have include:
- Through "Global Grace Outreach," contribution to surgery for a young girl, Yang Mei. For more information about Yang Mei, click
here.
- Zhuzhou Orphanage in Hunan Province, China where over 75% of the children are considered special needs and many have been assigned as unadoptable. A Small World student was adopted from Zhuzhou Orphanage.
- Half the Sky Foundation that provides shelter, food, health care, education and other critical assistance for special needs orphans in China. Small World has made regular financial contributions to Half the Sky.
- Various other Chinese Orphanages that provide food, shelter and health care to orphans in China. Small World has made financial contributions to orphanages affiliated with Small World families.
