Small World in Lafayette and Alameda provides Mandarin immersion, music
and international awareness programs to East Bay children and their parents.
Our Mission Is To:
Prepare future citizens of this increasingly interconnected world by weaving
different cultures, foods, languages, colors and traditions into the fabric
of their lives.
Enable families to acquaint their young children with the Chinese culture
and the fastest growing language in the world today – Mandarin – while
they also enjoy traditional pre-school and elementary school experiences.
Provide the enriching experience of helping children in other parts of
the world.
We Believe:
- There are no limits on what young children can learn and embrace

- Children learn best in environments that are happy, interactive, loving, energetic
and understanding
